Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and supporting the medical staff in various administrative and clinical tasks. Responsibilities:
- Perform various clinical tasks under the supervision of healthcare professionals, including taking vital signs, collecting patient history, and assisting with examinations
- Administer medications as directed by physicians or nurses
- Conduct basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Assist with patient education and provide support and guidance to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including entering patient information into electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, and coordinating referrals
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and basic pharmacology
- Proficiency in performing vital signs measurements and basic laboratory tests
- Experience with medical coding and billing procedures is a plus
- Knowledge of X-Ray procedures is desirable but not required
- Basic life support (BLS) certification is required
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
